The Balnearrio hot springs are outside the city of San Miguel de Allende and they are about fifteen minutes by car - and they are worth the trip. The hot springs are made up of five rooms - each getting hotter. Small pathways and steps connect the rooms with the last room having a large spout where the hot spring water is pumped into the room. The grounds around the springs are a wonderful place for a picnic.
